Engine 17

Engine 17 is a 1987 Pierce Lance 2000 gallon pumper tanker engine. It also carrries 60 gallons of pre pumped foam and is mostly used for shuttle and structure fires. It holds a crew of six.

Rescue 17 is a 1998 Pierce Saber 1500 gallon pumper rescue unit. It is equipped with heavy rescue tools and jaws of life. It holds a crew of eight and is mainly used for auto accidents and extrication as well as structure fires.

Squad 17

The Bristol Fire Department's ambulance is a 2003 Braun Ford E-350. It is equipped as a Paramedic unit carrying supplies for trauma, IV therapy, and ALS cardiac care.

Our 1992 S-10 Blazer is used to transport additional personnel to fire and EMS scenes. It also sometimes transports our wildland fire unit and our boat (for water rescue).

Grass 17

The grass 17 unit is a 2001 Kawasaki Mule. It is equipped with a 52 gallon tank and a self suction pump. It is used for wild land fires and to transport patients out from isolated areas and over rough terrain.

A Pick up - truck 17 - a Chevy 2500 - 3/4 ton, crew cab that works as a follow vehicle and also transports our wildland fire unit and boat (for water rescue).
